I just love being a belfast family photographer, nothing says home like a beautiful portrait capturing your favourite people. Over the last 15 years I have worked with lots of families in Belfast, all over Northern Ireland and the UK. My work is inspired by my genuine love of people and their stories. Whether it’s sleepy newborns, squishy babies, cheeky toddlers, crazy kids, too cool for school teenagers, glowing mums-to-be, proud fathers or the whole clan together. I specialise in natural, creative, honest family photography. I capture and celebrate real life, the beating heart of it, the character and the individuality.

I absolutely love children. One of the biggest compliments I’m ever been given is when I’m told I have a magic touch and beautiful way of connecting with children. The phrase Baby Whisperer is also thrown around quite alot!

Creating memories capturing souls

Families come to me and come back again, because I capture them in a way that is natural and fun. No awkward posing, no boring, soul-less white backdrops. You want your  photographs to tell a story, be full of feeling, to be relaxed, natural, artistic and jam packed with personality. Like me, you care about the good stuff… the people, the real emotion, the fun, the adventure, the love, the laughter.

So whether you are snuggling up on the sofa, going for a walk and a picnic, hide and seek in the woods, wheeling around park, digging sandcastles on the beach, or something else altogether… You’ll be so busy having fun together that you’ll hardly notice the camera. It’s a wonderful excuse to devote some special time entirely to the ones you love the most. And if you’re like me and usually hiding behind the camera, you’ll finally get those precious images of the whole family together, yourself included. No regrets. Just beautiful memories.

Whether your kids are just turning 1 or have become young adults in the blink of an eye, the connections we have as family, the experiences we have shared, the in-jokes, the unconditional love, thats what matters. • Where I photograph

I am a Belfast family photographer, however I work all throughout Northern Ireland. I spend the majority of my time adventuring outdoors or cosying up with cups of coffee in my clients lovely homes. There are lots of local parks and beautiful outdoor spaces that are great for family sessions. I’ve even shot in families back gardens. But here in Northern Ireland we are so lucky to have the beaches, forests, mountains and more all on our doorstep.

• What happens on the day

On the day we shoot for 1 hour. We can take breaks, stop for snacks and drinks along as we go. I love to work with families who are happy to explore off the beaten track. Go for a bit of an adventure and most importantly laugh until your stomach hurts.

• What happens after the photo shoot

Approximately 3-4 weeks after the photoshoot I will send you a link to your private online gallery. There you can view your stunning professionally edited images. You can share the gallery with your friends & family and decide which gorgeous photographs filled with wonderful memories you would like to purchase (oh go on look at their faces)!
