Zach & Emmas Ulster Museum humanist wedding ceremony & Orange Tree House Wedding.

I can’t even begin to describe how excited I’d been to capture Zach and Emma’s EPIC Orange Tree House Wedding. These two cool human beings absolutely smashed their amazing wedding day, made their own rules, kept the traditions they love and didn’t bother with the stuff that doesn’t matter to them. I started that day hanging out with the lads in Comber. Desperately wanting to join in the fun and Guinness drinking but settling for capturing some badass photos. We listened to damn good music, visited the chickens and I had the pleasure to finally meet in person the wonderful Jo Knight of FILMMAKERJO fame. Zach even designed his own wedding invitations which were so modern and elegant.

Then it was time to head over to the bride in Belfast and marvel at her stunning STUNNING wedding dress from Jill Jones Bridal. And run around like a sneaky ninja capturing the busy goings on. Sinead did the most beautiful makeup and Emma’s boho bride look came together like a dream.

So before we captured the most magic couple portraits on the beach, these two legends said their I Do’s in a bloomin gorgeous humanist ceremony carried out by the ever awesome Karen (the celebrant) at the Ulster Museum. It was the first Ulster Museum Wedding since the madness of the pandemic hit and it was head to toe stunning. The staff were so lovely, the room was a feast for the eyes with coolpop art and a geometric archway, florals and lanterns. It was a pleasure to be amidst such warmth and joy that every single guest brought into that beautiful space.

The party couldn’t wait though. We all took a a ride over to the Orange Tree House Wedding venue. The sun came out, the drinks were flowing but most importantly PAUL RUDD WAS THERE! Yes you read that correctly Paul Rudd. Zach and Emma’s adorable dog who had gotten dressed up especially for his Mum and Dads big day. He looked the most handsome and I thoroughly encourage everyone with a dog to let them be a part of your day. It was magic. I had to tear myself away. He is good boy. Very good boy.

After some hilarious and wildly fun family and bridal party portraits we headed over to the beach on the loch to capture the couple portraits for 20 minutes. Both Zach and Emma being quite shy they were feeling a bit nervous but with the right location and the right photographer… I captured them as they are. Intimate, natural, fun, boldly in love. Their way. But always being absolute beauts.
