A BELFAST MICRO WEDDING| bELFAST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

A Micro Wedding has become the norm for anyone getting married in the past year. This pandemic has been a whirlwind of emotions and stress and postponements and sadness. So these beautiful beams of lights that are micro weddings have been everything for so many of us. We are changing it up, making our own rules and saying NO to waiting any longer and saying YES to celebrating love. Sticking the middle finger up to covid, to a year full of no’s and you can’ts. Instead we are saying fuck it we are doing it anyway.

Micro wedings have all the good stuff. The love, laughter, the hugs, the beautiful words. All the connections, timeless moments, the heavenly florals. We have live streams, we have venue changes, we have elopements, we have garden receptions, garden micro weddings, we have love winning. Most importantly when the restrictions eased enough in March for things to get back swinging we could be with our families and our friends again. All the things that the lockdown showed us we need and want the most. And yeah there might be alot of masks but that means we only have to do half of our makeup!

Most importantly for Emma and Mathugh it meant that their Liverpool and Belfast families and friends could gather together in one place and celebrate their gorgoeus belfast city hall micro wedding. Changes were being made right up until the last minute with these guys. With their original venue cancelling on them only 10 days before their wedding date. Absolute nightmare. But these two magical human beans said we don’t care where we just care that we do. And they did. They did it so well.

Check out a selection of their gallery below, even after all this madness is over a micro weding might be for you!
